Rozu has opinions. Sometimes they can be rather strong. Her opinions on Voidsent/Ashkin/Ect. do not necessarily reflect my own. Sometimes she can be a bit of a catty bitch. Sometimes she can discuss subjects some people might not care for.If any of these things bother you, let me know!

Standard enough. If you see her out in the wild and her RP tag is open, she is in character and ready to chatter. If her RP tag is off, she's likely 'somewhere else', though that can change with a tell!If I'm in a venue and it's still off, I probably forgot.

Mature, but not Dark

Sometimes stories touch on serious themes, and sometimes things happen. That's just part of life. But I'm not likely to intentionally seek out gory or grim scenarios. Eorzea can be a pretty dangerous place, but that doesn't mean it's all blood and death all the time.

Length as Appropriate

Paraposting? Short quick posts? Depends entirely on the scene. If conversations are moving fast in a crowded venue, I'll probably stick to shorter posts to avoid being lost in the noise. I might even swap to tells if things get too hectic, but otherwise keep things concise.One on one? You're probably in for a bit more.

ㅤpersonalityㅤ Curious, sassy, quick to smile, and quicker to laugh, Rozu tries her best to maintain a friendly demeanor. Under the surface, she's impulsive, eager to jump into new experiences, easily drawn to fascinating stories, magicks, or landmarks, and just as willing to show them off.When the time comes to be serious, though, her temperament is almost akin to the ocean itself, flexible, calm... And all too willing to whip up into a raging storm.

ㅤbiographyㅤ Born to a pair of travelers during a voyage, Rozu often introduces herself as having literally been born on the sea. And indeed, growing up on a ship has left her with an affinity for the ocean and the freedom it presents that has lasted well into her adult years. And while her parents ensured she was enrolled to study at the Arcanist's Guild, it didn't take her long to find her way back to the sea.

What more is there to say about one born in wanderlust? A life of adventure was inevitable, and she would say that, in spite of it all, it was a life well lived. Rozu has worn many hats in her time. A graduate of the Arcanist's Guild, encouraged to seek knowledge in her own way. A student of Nym, determined to uncover the secrets of the Floating City. An adventurer sponsored by Maelstrom, part of it's Foreign Levy.

And yet, each step can feel so small looking back. While she's certainly had her part in the Liberation of Ala Mihgo, in several raids against Garlean Vessels, and even in an offensive against ominous towers threatening to bring about the End of Days, it would seem that even that would come to an end. Just as the decline of piracy brought her into Company life, so too had the end of conflict brought her to an uncertain threshold. It was done, right? Her story had reached it's climax, and her tale brought to a close?

But her story continued on. After the end of the war with Garlemald, she retired completely from Company service, spending her time in idle comfort as she collected the knowledge of her years. Eventually, she would meet her to-be wife, finding a fresh future she had not thought possible... And even after that, she found herself unsatisfied with the idea of fading into obscurity.

Spurred on by her wife, given a new spark for life, she began writing, collecting what she had learned over the years, and submitting papers, theories, and studies to Sharlayan. And eventually, she found herself invigorated further. Realizing just how little she knew about the world, she eventually made the choice to leave her retirement and strike off into it once more. After all, what was an age of peace and discovery if one simply languished away?

And the pages keep turning. Fair reader, if you've come this far, I invite you to see where the journey leads. After all.. Where one chapter ends, is it not natural to start the next?

ㅤappearanceㅤ Her features are sharp, her eyes are perpetually bagged, and she looks all too much like a hawk that had it's beak mashed into a book until it was given lady form. Her form is lean and muscular. Someone who exercises regularly despite potentially poor dietary habits. And while her self-care might be lacking, her hair is kept straight and ordered to a fault.

When it comes to strengths, Rozu is a loyal companion, with boundless curiosity, and enough courage to face any challenge put before her.

When it comes to flaws, Rozu can be quite impulsive, has a tendency to hyperfixiate, and has a strong need for companionship bordering on dependency.

And when it comes to everything else? Nothing makes her heart sing like a chance to talk about one of her passions. Sometimes way too much.

ㅤAttributesㅤ Her brain might be her best asset overall, but her mobility often surprises those that think of mages as stationary targets. Her physical health is struggling due to poor self-care habits, and she can certainly be abrasive at times, but she's an over-all reliable, flexible adventurer.

Veteran Scholar
A graduate of the Arcanist's Guild in Limsa Lominsa, and with years of practical experience as well. A carrier of a Nymian Soul Crystal, and a Scholar who has traveled near and far to hone her craft, Rozu is a flexible, supportive ally to have in many adventurers. With her faerie companion, Rosacea, and a collection of arcane constructs just a ritual away, she's ready to turn theoretical knowledge into practical tools. If you're the type to delve into unsubstantiated rumors and hearsay, she even has some knowledge on the subject of Primals themselves, and more advanced forms of Trancing.

ㅤFolklore Incarnatedㅤ
It should be no surprise that one well studied in Arcanima might summon creatures to do their bidding, and from ink, aether, and brush, she brings stories to life in fearsome, if temporary, forms.

ㅤHealing and Succorㅤ
It's not all about battle. While fearsome beasts and bladework might protect oneself, ancient knowledge can be put to use for so much more, giving succor and aid to the wounded.

ㅤStill a Limsan at Heartㅤ
So she's a nerd. That much is obvious. Arcanists usually are. But she's still Limsan. Magic is her best tool, but not her only, and she will gladly utilize both handgonnes and blades for that extra edge in a fight.

Shells of light and positivity to protect those one cares about from the dangers of the world. The secrets of Nym brought to life to defend those that need it most.
